Welcome to 2024 Wrapped, as we close out another incredible year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve been on and what we’ve accomplished.

Landscape 2023, 2024, and Beyond

This year we continued to build on the foundation we established in 2023, as we set out to define Network Societies across physical, maritime, and digital spaces. Here’s a look back at our 2023 and 2024 Landscape.

Introducing Tokenized Citizenships

We’re excited to launch Version 4 of our platform, slated for Q1 2025, unveiling Tokenized Citizenships— introducing a new form of Investable Assets and Sovereignty by Investment for Startup Cities and Smart Governments.

Storefronts for Marketplaces

We’re thrilled to announce the introduction of Storefronts— digital embassies for Cities designed to showcase their citizenship services and opportunities.

Storefronts are a window into the inner workings of a government. Citizens can directly connect with policy-makers, explore job opportunities, participate in governance operations or engage with fellow citizens.

Real-World Assets (RWA):

While we’re still working to make Real Estate-backed assets a fully accessible reality, we’ve made significant progress toward democratizing ownership of physical assets through tokenization. More announcements are coming soon!

Strengthening Diplomatic Relations

In 2024, we deepened our diplomatic engagements with delegations from the US, West Australia, the UK. These conversations have opened doors to exciting partnerships and collaborations, with more engagements planned for 2025.

We’re excited to announce a major rebrand in 2025 to better reflect our evolving mission while staying true to the core values that define us. Stay tuned for more details!

Building Our Community

Our community remains at the heart of everything we do. From priority access to Universal ID (.SI) to meeting other Network Societies enthusiasts in Singapore, San Francisco, and launching the founding community of Celo in SG.

With a major rebrand in the works and a renewed focus on community— we’ve got some big events planned for 2025 that range from hackathons to invite-only private events bringing together civic innovators from around the world.

Looking Ahead

2024 was a challenging year that forced us to go back to the drawing board more than once and build from our collective learnings of talking to users and understanding the deep frustrations of our people in the Governments that serve them and a general lack of trust in our persisting archaic systems.

As we head into 2025, we have a clear focus on our goals and are excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at the work it takes to ensure the last-mile delivery of essential services to citizens.
