Smart-city infrastructure isn’t waiting on more tech; it’s waiting on better rails. Over the past five months, we have:

• Advanced the AI-City blueprint through formal government review in India.

• Moved the $USC stablecoin into Internal Validation with the spec locked and in-house tests underway.

• Signed three new jurisdiction agreements, with two additional SEZ deals under legal review.

• Opened diplomatic dialogues across the US, UK, India, and the Middle East.

1. Smart City x Government

Our AI-City blueprint including Universal ID, Express e-Residency, USC payments, and tokenized public assets, was reviewed in Hyderabad, India, moving into a phased policy review now in formal state-secretary consideration.

Why it matters: It positions Illuminated as a core partner in India's first major AI-powered city, directly impacting foreign investments, talent inflow, digital governance, and smart-city innovation.

2. USC Stablecoin

Specs are locked, our team is running security and performance tests in-house before any external audit begins. This phase is where we hammer on edge-cases, gas profiles, and upgrade paths.

USC is designed as a yield-bearing stablecoin, fully collateralised by income-generating Real-World Assets. USC enables instant, cross-border settlement for cities, citizens, and investors.

Why it matters: Tokenized RWAs are projected to surpass $30T by 2030, vastly exceeding today’s $250B stablecoin market. Early positioning on USC rails gives our partner cities first-mover access to asset-backed liquidity and stable yield, without exposing users to speculative volatility.

3. New City Partnerships & SEZ Deals

We have executed agreements with three partners, a mix of special economic zones and global co-living hubs across the US, Middle East and South Asia, and entered legal diligence with two additional SEZs. Public announcements are scheduled for next month.

Why it matters: Together, the zones represent multi-billion-dollar GDP footprints and a resident base above 200K, large enough to validate our rails and small enough to iterate fast.

4. Our New Mandate: The Smart City Stack

We go further by seeding founding communities and forming direct, exclusive 1-to-1 partnerships between cities and citizens, creating wider distribution, ownership, and engagement.

Why it matters: Each partner city gains a full marketplace to engage in commerce with global citizens, combining a digital storefront, transactional rails, and identity systems to compete in the trillion-dollar smart-city economy.

5. Building London’s Digital Layer

We met with the UK Department for Business & Trade, scoping potential pilot economic zones across London focused on digital-residency rails and RWA-backed financing tools. We’re continuing technical briefings this quarter with EU and GCC counterparts exploring similar corridors.

Why it matters: Helping cities build a digital layer, with AI-driven e-Residency, on-chain asset platforms, stablecoin rails, could open up £5–10 billion in Smart-city & AI FDI for London alone, while opening parallel corridors across Europe and the Gulf.

6. Upcoming Rebrand

Our scope has outgrown the Illuminated badge. We’re reimagining our identity with a sovereignty-first name, built for global scale, launching soon.

This rebrand reflects the ambition, clarity, and reach of where we’re headed next, built to resonate with citizens, investors, and governments alike.
