Hello Citizens,
It’s been a while, and that’s intentional.
Over the past year, we stepped out of the spotlight to focus on something more important than announcements: building.
What started as Illuminated has quietly grown into something much more concrete, working with cities, economic zones, and partners who are actively shaping how identity, residency, and participation will function in a more global world.
Along the way, we realized that what we were building had outgrown the original name.
In the coming days, Illuminated will become Sovrn.
The mission hasn’t changed.
We’re still building the digital layer for modern cities and global citizen-
The infrastructure that lets people, capital, and communities move and connect across borders more easily.
The new name simply reflects where the work has matured.
You’ll start seeing Sovrn across our product, website, and communications soon. Everything else remains the same: the team, the partners, and the direction we’re headed.
We’ll be sharing more updates shortly, including what we’ve been building behind the scenes and what comes next.
